Set of Two Lounge Chairs by I.S.A. in Silk Upholstery and Brass, Italy, 1950s

A pair of comfortable, warm and colorful Italian lounge chairs. With their round shapes and soft, clean cushions they really invite you to sit and relax for a while. You will feel embraced by the shape of the chair and that gives a wonderful feeling of inclusion and security.

These chairs are in good condition. The seat cushion is sturdy but not too hard, and not dented at all, as new. The silk upholstery has been done neatly and still looks very fresh. The pattern is a unique combination of the ‘Empire Style’ with ‘Victoria Floral’: a beautiful play of round lines and graceful ornaments in different vibrant colours. Together with the brass feet these lounge chairs look charming, graceful and playful at the same time. Chic Classic meets Mid-Century Modern!

We found these chairs in the south of Italy where they stood in a glass extension, surrounded by greenery. Of course these beauties can now be positioned everywhere, they will definitely bring life and color to the space in which they are placed.
