Set of 3 Wall Lights in Metal and Glass, Europe, 1960's

Set of three wall lamps, likely from the 60' s, with a design that strongly echoes the work of Finnish lighting designer Alvar Aalto. The soft, organic lines and the way the light is diffused — without exposing the bulb directly — align closely with Aalto’s approach to warm, functional lighting. At the same time, the layered construction and silhouette also recall designs by Louis Poulsen, and the build quality suggests these could potentially be an early Philips production.

The light source is cleverly hidden behind a series of concentric metal rings, creating a soft, indirect glow and casting striking shadows on the wall. This results in a very pleasant light — atmospheric without being harsh or direct. The subtle contrast in color adds visual interest, making the lamps stand out even when they’re turned off.

A well-balanced and sculptural set that fits naturally into a Scandinavian modern or Japandi-inspired interior.
