Poul Kjærholm

Poul Kjærholm (1929–1980) trained as a cabinetmaker and then spent his career working in steel — the one Danish designer of his generation who treated metal as a material with its own logic rather than a substitute for wood.

PK 22 chairs in cane for E. Kold Christensen, and the PK 91 folding stool for Fritz Hansen. E. Kold Christensen production predates the Fritz Hansen licence and is the version collectors want.
