Luciano Frigerio

Luciano Frigerio (1928–1999) was an Italian designer who expanded his father’s small Desio cabinetmaking workshop, founded in 1889, into the international furniture company Frigerio di Desio. His ‘Mobili Scultura’ (furniture sculpture) collections in solid wood, often combined with cast bronze, became the company’s signature, and he was made Commendatore della Repubblica Italiana in 1973.
