Ico Parisi

Ico Parisi (1916–1996) was an Italian architect and designer, born in Palermo and based in Como, who trained in the studio of Giuseppe Terragni. In 1948 he founded the design studio La Ruota with his wife Luisa Aiani, and worked across architecture, art and furniture design alongside figures including Bruno Munari and Lucio Fontana. He won a gold medal at the 1954 Milan Triennale, and the Ico e Luisa Parisi collection at Como’s Pinacoteca preserves more than a thousand of his drawings.
